Small Changes Lead to Big Shifts

You might overestimate what you need to change, or underestimate your ability to change! This leaves us feeling stuck and unable to see the possibilities.

Therapy gives you a space to slow down, to examine your strengths and the sources of your dissatisfaction so that you can gain insight and experiment with new ways of thinking and acting. Based on my background as a healthcare provider, coach and mindfulness meditation teacher, my approach to therapy is warm, holistic, and evidence-informed. Together, we can find new perspectives, explore your choices and implement a plan to take action.

You will find my approach to therapy is practical, insightful and active – integrating mindfulness, compassion, focusing, inquiry and reflection, while finding ways to take concrete action towards change. I am familiar with diverse spiritual traditions and happy to support personal and spiritual development as a fellow traveller on the path. My work as a mindfulness-based therapist is informed by my longtime personal practice in contemplative traditions.

The key to successful therapy is a collaborative partnership between us. We will find what works best for you as an individual as we explore new possibilities. Through this individually tailored experimentation, we’ll work to discover new paths of action, greater freedom and more fulfillment.

My friends say that I am...
kind, a good listener and a deep thinker
I'm inspired by...
the random acts of kindness I see happening all around me
In my spare time I...
spend time with family, move my body in nature and love to learn about the human mind!
