accepting new clients – individuals and couples
"To practice courage, compassion, and connection is to look at life and the people around us, and say, 'I’m all in.'"
-Brené Brown
Allow me to walk beside you and collaborate with you. Together we will create a space of empowerment and understanding. Educated in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed practice and sex therapy, I have a specialized focus in trauma, grief, and relationships. I value being able to help my clients through their most vulnerable times.
In therapy with me you will have a space to talk, learn, and evolve. Through skill-building and personal discovery, I aim to help you manage current and future problems. Therapy with me will emphasize self-compassion, connection with the present moment and living your authentic life. Together, we will address your experiences holistically: body and mind.
When working with couples, I strive to make everyone feel comfortable and heard. We will collaborate and communicate as a team: working together for a unified goal. Reflecting on family-of-origin patterns, we will all learn how and why you interact as you do in your relationships, and use that understanding to discover new ways forward. I emphasize empathy and communication skills in order to move beyond disconnection and misunderstanding, and towards one another and your shared values.
You will find me to be genuine, warm and observant, and I will work with you in a way that feels empowering, adaptive and opens new possibilities. I look forward to speaking with you further.
